1. Vampire Diaries did so bad against American Idol they decided to re-air it, and throw in Nikita as well.
2. Some sort of sports preemption in Chicago and Baltimore.
3. Some vague "legal" or "editing" issues. Never did hear anything specific about that one.
4. Smallville's newest episode has a plot about a Congresswoman getting shot, so they wanted to postpone that because it's so close to the Tuscon shootings. And Supernatural is affected because they wanted to keep the two mid-season premieres together.
Personally, I can buy a combination of the first and last. But still, to wait until the day before to change the schedule is really, really stupid.
I could buy 1 and 4...not so much on 2 because I have family in or really near both cities and did not hear anything about sports things in either city. And I would have heard.
And 3? They would have settled that before it was that close to airing. So yeah...not buying that.
Yeah waiting until the night before? Not cool CW not cool at all.

I wondered what had happened...but I don't really fandom SPN...just watch the show.
