So I went from staring at the MS Word window and despairing over the fact that I can't seem to write action scenes to idly speculating over whether the original seiyuu would reprise their roles in the (hopefully) upcoming Kenshin anime to realizing that I missed listening to Suzukaze Mayo's singing to spending hours watching Takarazuka videos on

that's so cool -- i have seen an all male ballet troupe but unlike the all female troupe that you had mentioned, 'les ballet trockadero de monte carlo' is meant to be a parody:

i had seen them live a few decades ago and they were wonderful (it's very hard for males to dance on toe but these guys are amazing --and hilarious)

you can allude to the action without using so much detail (watsuke didn't draw all the action, more like blurs of movement and clashes of metal, flashes of a blade... even in the anime). close your eyes and imagine the sounds then imagine a strobe flashing where you see only snatches of movement.
