you probably would have chucked the good one too so at least you would have been acceptably barefoot.

you could have at least wrapped tape around it to keep it on until you got home.

Well, I didn't have exactly have any tape handy, and no way of getting any...I tried stapling a bunch of times but that didn't hold up...

I'm not sure walking around totally barefoot would have been any more acceptable. Haha.
