Random factoid about me: I like to put a song on repeat while I'm at the computer. Just whatever song has captured my attention lately will play until I pick another one. I do the same thing - YouTube, it is a blessing in this way :D

However,

I might have to disown you for this statement :P

LOL, you could probably say the same thing about some of my musical choices :P But I hate this song in particular because it is still on very heavy rotation at the only decent Top 40/Rock station in town. And after awhile it makes my ears bleed...

Of course, I'm sure there's a level of WTFery I'm not getting because I'm not familiar with the character in question, but I thought I'd add my two cents anyway :P

Yeeeaaah, one of my good music stations has turned into an oversexed pop and hip hop station, and I haven't found a new one to replace it yet. And my other station is playing nothing but easy listening Christmas music, 24/7. So I'm listening to things I wouldn't, otherwise.

The WTFery is mostly the song. Abel is a classic Crouching Moron Hidden Badass-type character. Also a vampire.

Oh, random tangent--I keep seeing people on the stocking comm that have this really cool assortment of fandoms...and Twilight. Every time, I have this irrational urge to feed the sparklevamps to a real vampire from one of my decent fandoms.

Twilight is an abomination upon all it claims to represent - YA fiction, fantasy/vampire fiction, romance fiction, even teen girls series *eyes shelves of BSC & SVH* I mean, really. The only thing that makes it worth the lulz these days is the fact that Robert Pattinson thinks Edward's just as big a douche as everyone else!
