I didn't mention it last entry, but it's entirely possible that Jim's become my new Ichigo, at least as far as me beating him up or tormenting him in fics is concerned. That's where the title of the series came from. Also, this series will be pretty heavily about Kirk and Spock, but so far whether or not you take it as Kirk/Spock will depend on

Mm, original slash. (Sorry, the first time I ever heard of male-male like EVER was from my mom's old fanzines; they will always be my first 'pairing like that'. XD) Also... just... GAH LOVE. Yes. Because it really is too perfectly them. Particularly 'You're sitting in my chair'='rescue me'. ♥

I'm also quite fond of 'I want that ship disabled by the time I get to the transporter room'. Both because it is perfectly possible and because it is just awesome like that.

And the fic?

Wow. I want more. You've got the movie characters down -- Kirk's bravery, despite his wounds, and the way Spock jerks out of the seat in question are absolutely genuine, right out of the big screen. And Sulu at the conn! :D And the last line? AWESOME. I have a feeling Kirk knows exactly how fast Spock is going to get him out of there. Well done.

Oh, Kirk knows damn well what happens when you wind up a Vulcan and point him at a target. That's the whole point of doing it, yes?

Well. That, and it inevitably leads to some very entertaining ranting on Bones' part and a lot of deadpan bitching and sniping on Spock's part when someone finally drags their sorry asses down to sickbay. That's neither here nor there, though. I'm glad you liked it.

And yes, Zangetsu approves of anything that involves someone else's charge getting beaten up. ;D
