By this point, Hakuba was suppressing laughter right along with Hattori.  The rest of the Task Force was just looking confused.  Kid dropped his arm and pointed directly at Shinichi.

*laughs* I find it amusing that the first two comments on this story are from folks who, far as I'm aware, know little to nothing about this fandom. Also a bit relieved that you can enjoy or get the joke or whatever even if you don't have all the background. I like writing for whoever wants to read. So, thank you.

Yes, that's Kid all over. Possibly literally if Shinichi gets his hands on him during this heist. :) Beautiful story, I always love little snapshots of life like this. :)

Thank you. *smirk* So many ways I could take that first bit, all things considered. And I'm thinking of doing all ten stories in this series as kind of snapshot fics, once I get around to them. *shrugs* S'what I'm best at, anyway.
