So y'all know I advocate for public higher ed, especially the value of community colleges since I work at one. And I also agitate for adjuncts - part time faculty who are paid per course with no benefits or even an office most of the time. I don't have to drive to campus today, get snowed in, and then take days to get back home or else stay at a colleague's house.

Bad news:
My last final's on Tuesday Dec 23, grades are due Christmas Day, and I'm just waiting for the requests for make-ups in January to start pouring in.

So I'm applying for a dean position at a nerd camp for this summer, where I'd supervise and support the teachers of various subjects, about which I may or may not have any language.
