No nightmares about zombie birds, thankfully. She was singing happily this morning when I got up. More mouse poop in papers and her food bowls; going to try removing food bowls at night, and changing papers right before bed in addition to first thing in the morning. Any chance of sticking Kappa in another cage for sleeping overnight? I'd want to stick that trap in the cage with the food etc (where you have evidence that they're there) and see how many I could catch in there. Mice are a PITA.....

We often see mice at night in the kitchen, which is where the trap is located currently. The room Kappa's cage is in is right next to the kitchen, so I don't think we'll have any problem catching them - after Mouse 0 escaped when I was attempting to bring him to a release point, it only took a couple hours to catch Mouse 1. I just set up the trap again and we'll see how long it takes to get Mouse 2.

I'm just glad Kappa's not prone to night frights! This is probably why poor Gabe had so many of them.
