T$ was away all last week for a conference, and not 10 minutes after he got home she flew to his shoulder, startling him and delighting me. I was really glad that she'd apparently missed him, instead of deciding to become pissed off at him! :-P

She was so absorbed in getting to the nut inside the shell she barely noticed the flashy thing going off in her face. :-P

When I was looking, duskies were available and GCCs were not. After doing some research, I realized that a dusky was a better choice for me anyways, and I am quite happy w/ my choice. :)

Kappa really loves almonds, so I started by cracking the shell w/ a nutcrucker for a couple of them, and once she figured out that an almond was inside there was no going back.
