I live near a mass transit hub, so I've learned to basically ignore any screaming going on outside my apartment (and there is a fair bit). But I just heard something that made me smile:

I did know! I'll be out of town in a week (in Seattle!), but I should do something friendly-like like inviting her over for dinner.

It's too bad I was secretly intimidated by her in Math 13X... whatever will I talk about to seem interesting?
