Have I ever told you what an entertaining writer you are? I'm surprised you're not writing for the telescope trade journals. Or are you...?

To Cat; I'm waiting on availability of a spherometer so I can measure the f/ ratio of the mirrors, then I'll be sending them to some old acquintances in CO in my old astronomy club who have a vacuum deposition machine and are going to recoat the mirrors for me. After that it'll be gettin' parts and buildin' scopes.

To Zack: Unfortunately I'm working swing shift on Saturday, so no partyage for me. Also, I once had an anecdote published in Sky & Telescope about paranoid neighbors thinking I was trying to shoot down airplanes with a cannon.
