Thank you for reading! Looking at it, again, I'm seeing a bunch of glaring errors as well as a number of places that need some clarification. I couldn't quite make peace with the film and I think that's why it defies description. Still, the opening scenes, as well as the ending where the trial comes down into the surgery... are amazing and stirring and surreal. I'm constantly surprised these films are not better known.
