Please tell me Ed gets to Hawkeye before Mustang does. Ha! That would serve him right for dallying with some floozy in the gardens.

This is really fun so far and very seasonally appropriate. I'm looking forward to the final chapter!

This story is such a fun read! I love the military boys' table chat, and I adore little Fuery taking Sheska out to dance. And drunk Ed is priceless. Hehe, I can't wait for the last installment!

I can't help but feel like all of the generals, lieutenants, and captains, etc. couldn't afford to leave their bases haha. Like some opposing force would take advantage and attack :P

But good story though, I'm thoroughly enjoying Ed's liquid confidence haha. I wonder what Envy is up to?!

Can't wait for the next part! :)

*laughs* I don't know if it's mentioned in this chapter or the next but somewhere it's mentioned that there are other military balls besides the one in central. If they're at another base outside of central then celebration would be held there. Most likely either not all the soldiers would be able to attend those given, as you say, that someone would have to stand guard, or that they arranged something so that everyone would be able to attend for at least a couple of hours ^_~ It isn't unreasonable to think that a few higher in rank would be invited to specifically attend the ball in Central.
