Forgive and forget, that's what they say. It's good advice, but it's not very practical. When someone hurts us, we want to hurt them back. When someone wrongs us, we want to be right. Without forgiveness, old scores never settle, old wounds never heal. The most we can hope for is that one day, we'll be lucky enough to forget.

I actually watched a Grey's episode last night (my second ever). It was better than the pilot. However, I still dislike Meredith's character which keeps me from watching the show. I think that her and McDreamy deserve each other, simply because they're both annoying. And any woman willing to fall for that bullshit line he gave her about the 48 hours deserves to have her heart broken (which is most likely what he'll do).

No, I'm not cynical, I just dislike needy, whiney, characters whose goal in life is to find a man. It's probably because I've met too many like Meredith in real life so I don't want to see them on television too.
