It's a wonder Hiddink had any fingernails left at the end of that match. I was gritting my teeth and staring desperately at the screen, hoping that someone got finally got a way through.

And I could have done without SBS commenting every 5 minutes on the "it's been 32 years" thing. We all know. Really. Even the kids in kindergartens know that we haven't been to the World Cup since '74.

(And that "We Told You So" that Stadium Australia was flaunting is looking better and better...)

Yeah, but nailbiting for 80 minutes followed by 10 minutes of exhaultant whooping is not good for getting Beths to bed at 1am.

I didn't watch it as my roommate doesn't like it, which sucked. We had channel 7 and then Big Brother...which I have saddly gotten myself addicted to. I was up until 3am last night packing...I so wish I'd watched it.
