Saw G.I. Joe

Not-really spoiler: If you are going to go see G.I. Joe, do not go with anyone who knows anything about nanotechnology or particle colliders. And while the nanotech fail was within common limits for nano fail, the particle collider problems were massive. And confusing. Aw, even the explosions were shit? I was hoping it would make up what it was always going to be lacking in other areas by having good explosions at least!

I got $7 tickets and I don't think the explosions were worth the money. The opening sequence was decent, what with the deconstructing helicopters, and bathing people in walls of flame... but unless you like seeing "and we flipped another car (and sometimes it burst into flames)", and the main action sequence was underwater, ripped off Star Wars, lacked in decent explosions and even the flying bit where they blew up intercontinental missiles wasn't very exciting in the explosion department.

Transformers was better, and Transformers suffered from worse comic relief. But at least their explosions and fight scenes were cool.
