Hermione had always been in love with the way that Luna knew, and was positive, was sure. That was a solidity that no one had ever given her and she couldn’t stay away from something that felt so grounded and still made her feel like she was flying.
This passage had me sighing. I love the way you crafted it, it's beautiful.
Well. I must admit, I preferred to think of it as George's name there, not Hermione's. But even as it is, it was fabulous.
And no, you're right - I don't often go for the femmeslash...or any slash. But you write it beautifully, so I'm making the effort to be more open about it, especially since it's you.
I read the Ginny one before this, too, and I loved the part about she doesn't have the words to say things to make Luna's belly flutter, so she uses her hands to show. Gorgeous.
I'm actually trudging through a very long Luna/George songfic (they were my first non canon pairing, after all) so I'm looking forward to when I can put that up and let you read it :)
Femmeslash has appeared to be my forte... or just using the characters in that kind of way. I love the way Luna and Ginny interact, so that's what I use. It's proving to be a promising slate to scribble all over.
Most all the prompts I get, or things that I read that are really moving to me, tend to move me into a pairing's direction. There is a song called 'The Beacon' by a Fine Frenzy and once I've got the time, I'm definitely doing something for Harry based on it. It's so perfect for him.
YAY!! Yuo wrote Hermione/Luna!! That is one of my favorite pairings. When I wrote my story for you, I was surprised to wake up this morning to find that you beat me, lol. Great useage of the prompt. I miss writing for you as well, so anytime you're up for another, I'm here, lol, and I am always up for another as well.
When I read the prompt, I knew instantly that it would work for Ginny/Luna but I wanted to give another pairing a try, and since I reread this fabulous Hermione/Luna over the weekend, I had a craving to give them a go. Plus I knew that you liked them, so it was a win-win. :) I can't take one for now, but I'll bother you again at the end of the week for more. :)
