Thanks! The prompt was hard to work with, it's hidden within the story, and I wasn't quite sure how to do it so I just let it happen like I let most things happen. I'm very new to HP fanfic (although I've loved the books since the I first read The Philospher's Stone in 1998). I've spent the last couple of months entirely immersed in Skins fandom, so unsurprisingly, my OTP is Naomi/Emily (although I've read and loved pretty much every other f/f combination you can think of (there don't seem to be that many writers interested in het or boyslash in Skins fandom)).
I'm not at all surprised that there's so much HP fic around, and I'm very much looking forward to checking more of it out :)
I read a little Hermione/Tonks story today that was rather lovely, but I don't think it'll take that much to make Ginny/Luna my HP OTP, especially if you keep writing them :)
Compared to a few others, I'm new to fanfiction as well but that doesn't mean much, I suppose. I've heard things about Skins but I don't know what it's about at all. I've read one fic for the Naomi/Emily pairing (that's your icon, I'm guessing?) and it was pretty good, it definitely seemed interesting. I don't really know anything about the fandom.
HP has the largest fanfiction archive on the Net, by far, so there's always bound to be something good around. :)
I haven't read much Hermione/Tonks, I normally stick with Hermione/Pansy, Luna/Hermione and Ginny/Luna. Though I'm open to any pairing, those are just the ones that I take the time to read most often. And aw, thanks! I've written them before but it's mostly in drabbles and such since that's what I normally have time for. :)
