Not dead, again...

I've been neglecting my online life, lately - here's the deal. We're busy! Which honestly, is worthy of a big old "Yeehah"! because normally during this time we are S-L-O-W and sometimes wondering where our next paycheck will come from. Neither of us are giant salespeople and I admit that's part of the problem. But also, when you are a small ( Read more... )

Is it still illegal to serve alcohol to under 21s if it's in a private residence? Here (UK), you can serve alcohol to a child in a private home over the age of five...

Also, is Full Sail supposed to be good? I have two friends, one who's currently still studying there and another who's a graduate and working as a graphic designer, and... well, I actually have to say that they're both really quite rubbish at art, graphics AND design. :x :x

Yes, it is still illegal to serve alcohol to a minor, even your own child, private residence or not! 21 is the legal drinking age, period. Which never made much sense to me, personally. We can technically commit vehicular homicide at 15 with a learner's driving permit and die for our country and smoke at 18 - but alcohol has to wait! It's retarded.

Granted if you do it and don't have a wild party that the cops show up to you'll probably never get caught. I had my first drink via my dad at 13. BUT I'm not talking about my own kid, I'm talking about someone else's whom at that point I won't know very much about. It's just a recipe for disaster, especially if they got caught drinking and driving or something worse happened. If they found out I provided the alcohol I would be arrested.

Full Sail is pretty good, yes! She works in the admissions department you could probably drop her a PM though I'm not sure how long it would take to get a response.

We are! But that's a good thing! At this point I'd rather be busy with work and staying on top of it than able to 'ignore' work things in favor of fandom/writing. That never works out well in the end.
