So - for those of you who don't belong to cheer_me_on the first bit of good news is I spent yesterday afternoon/evening cleaning out/up my back hobby room! Seriously, the door could not be shut! I threw out a heck of a load of empty boxes we had initially been keeping because of the R/C helicopter parts business. Muahahaha. We can barely run 1 business

Well done with the clear-out! I've never been good with throwing stuff away, but recently, I've become utterly ruthless about throwing things out. I keep almost nothing! I think it's moving house four times in the last three years. I'll be damned if I carry one iota of unnecessary crap from the old place to the new!

A rat is a really cool pet - my friend at school had two. They're supposed to be quite intelligent pets...although as with humans, that really can vary! They are quite clean as well, although they are insanely noisy in the night! But you're probably used to that nocturnal pet noise with two guinea pigs already. :D

Actually, the guinea pigs don't make much noise! We'll have to see about the rat.

I have become more ruthless, as well. I find unless it's something seasonal, like clothing or decorations (or my SCA stuff! LOL) I have a 3-month rule. If I don't use it for 3 months it goes! Unfortunately, I live with 3 other people who don't always share my worldview. :)
