Putting this all behind a cut in case you don't want to be spoiled for anything! First-things-first though, I want to publicly say how awesome my husband is. :) We only had 2 comp tickets and after finding out the INCREDIBLY EXPENSIVE price of a one day park hopper ($84 for CHILDREN 3-9 FL RESIDENTS + TAX!!!), he tried to find deals online, did ( Read more... )

You saw most of what I did, too. I really liked the ride inside the castle but just the tour was great! We also went on the kids Hippogriff ride which was fun. All in all, they did a great job. Next time you might try going to the Sinbad action show. It was very well done.

I've done that! :) I've been to the park several times - used to have yearly passes in early 2000 pre-Ana. I was just so hyped to go and see the HP area now since that's the only 'new' thing for me. :D

I can't wait to check it out. I'm taking my family after the new year. And if I'm not mistaken (and I very well may be) it was the Flying Unicorn ride before. I used to work at JP and fairly certain that's the name they would use over the radio.
I can't wait 'til I can have some butterbeer.
Oh, and I didn't know your hubby offered to stay home. That is very sweet. :) Wish I'd known you needed another ticket. Could have helped you out there. :( But atleast it worked out.

Yes! The Flying Unicorn, that was it. :) It's been ages I couldn't entirely remember since I'd never actually gone on it anyway. LOL

Originally I thought Ana was free, and then I was under some mistaken self-imposed impression it would only cost like, $40 or so for a one-day ticket for her!
Evidently, I should have looked at the pricing months before when I looked at the park hours and stuff, originally - but I think part of my brain just didn't want to know. :D Plus, not realising at the time I knew someone who worked there/ had contacts it wouldn't have mattered in my head. You started coming to meetings after my b-day I believe and I didn't want to ask Cookie for another ticket when he'd so generously given me those already! All my personal peeps here work at various Disney corporate positions. Tech geeks, gotta love 'em. :D
