Okay, I'm over the illness I had, and we now have a new house that we have successfully moved into. We even have our dog back (though he's still getting used to being, as per the lease agreement, an outside dog). It's pretty awesome

It seems to me that you need a thematically appropriate movie, or something.

Yeah, but it'll be tricky - most Cold War movies, for instance, were made in the US, and thus are "Communism is evil and inhuman!" I'd need to find something that portrays Communism as a force of good, maybe even something pro-Lenin.

As a starting point, I imagine MST3K would have done something like that at some point. You could then watch that, or go find the original.
