Finally finished reading Seveneves. I'd read Reamde a couple of months ago and while the two books are quite different, both culminate in a massive fight among various characters that goes on for pages and pages and pages. Neal Stephenson is an inventive writer but he has the mistaken idea he can describe a pitched battle. The scenes get confusing

Also, how moving to Mars was never going to work out. I thought for a brief time that this was going to be part of the plot but he has it come to a nasty end.
