This is absolutely FASCINATING. Mycroft's loneliness, his 3 loves, and the unanswerable question of where, after the fall, Sherlock has ended up: Sherlock might belong to Moriarty’s kind now. He might be mortal, or dead. He might be basking in the Divine Presence, sitting at His feet like a favourite pet called in out of the cold.

Doubt, in Mycroft, who was never meant to be capable of it; love of a singular man, in Sherlock, who was never meant to be either. Mycroft's voice, and his descriptions of Sherlock, were lovely and lyrical, almost worshipful.

I have to check out this 'Eternal Law' series. Thanks for the story!

This is one of the best Sherlock fics I've ever read. It's absolutely beautifully written, the elegance of the descriptions and imagery and metaphors is sublime. And their characterisations are so perfectly done, the angel part enhances the accuracy of their selves. The entire story links up so brilliantly with the fall. Loved all the Moriarty bits. Mycroft's entire being was so beautifully done, so sorrowful and steadfast and yet shaken and broken in the wake of the fall. So emotively impactful.
