Roids and elphantitis.

So I got some contact dermatitas. More commonly known as poison oak, sumac, or ivy. Not sure which really. But suffice to say it came on quick and got ugly. This morning my eye was just about swollen shut until I took a heavy dose of benedryl. and the recommended shampoo is Dawn. Takes fleas out of the way.

Had it in Jan from detergent. It sucked balls. Prednisone sucks, but it works.

Ugh that sucks. Happened to my brother when we were kids and his eyes swelled shut. Call me if you need any nurse-type-stuff.

I've been suffering the past couple of weeks with all-over body poison ivy. Blazing-hot showers makes your skin release all its histamines all at once, giving you about 6 hours reprieve while it chemically reloads. I suppose the prednisone and high-test benadryl are probably doing it for ya. But if you develop a tolerance to the benadryl (I seem to do that within 3 to 4 days), the hot shower trick works great.
