Dad is home!!

Dad got the scope down his throat today and they found that he has a severe bleeding ulcer.  They took him off a few of his meds and gave him some Prilosec and he is home now!  I have to get up in 3 hours so we can head to the airport and go to Florida.  I am just so glad he's home and I got to see him before I left.  He looks tired but good, I

Val, I am so HAPPY that your dad is home and doing well. I'm glad they found an ulcer, as weird as that sounds, because that can definitely be fixed. Have fun in Florida!

I'm so happy that your father is OK and that there is nothing horribly wrong with him (not that a bleeding ulcer is a good thing). I hope that he continues to improve and that your mom's cooking doesn't get too maligned in the process!
