How long til the beer is ready?

Funny, your counters look just like the ones we used to have in our house in Florida before we replaced them. Seems like weblamer had a picture a while back with a similar style. Must have been popular. Our cabinets were badly water damaged so we had to replace them before we sold the place.

One week till bottling, about a month till its in my glass.

Heheh those are jsut cheap cabinets and they are VERY sensitive to water damage. I'd like to rip mine out and get new ones.

You poor Floridians. Man, you just can't escape the dampness! All that rain lately, and now Arlene. Whew! I hope you haven't had much wind to mess up the tarps on your roof.

The beer looks very labor-intensive, but I've heard there's no comparing it to store-bought beers.

Well Arlene didn'ty produce ALL that much rain about an inch to an inch and a half over the weekend.

I suppose I could have worked on the roof but the last thing I need it to slip off a wet roof when no one is home.

Of course. I'm glad you didn't attempt to work on the roof when it's wet. It would be awful for you to take a bad fall and not be able to summon help.

We felt the effects of Arlene last night. A big ol' slug of rain came up our way. I'm glad for it, though, because my lawn and flowers really needed the soaking.
