When I first decided to follow this link, I thought it was going to be some sort of "Ed got drunk and fell in the fire" type of story. But no, it was a great story of a camping trip, which provided some good "static" and provides some super campfire story telling oppertunities for the future.
You are the first person I know who has that as a hobby. Unlike Weblamer, I find it rather intresting. Thanks for sharing.
HAha speaking of falling in the fire. That actually DID happen on one of our trips but it wasn't Ed who fell in the fire. It was this other dude with dread locks and his hair caught fire because he slept too close to it.
Looking back I find it a bit amusing him running around at 1am screaming "I'm ON FIRE!!!"
I tried to shoot for the whole campfire sense of things since it IS the season for such stuff.
I have only recently adopted this type of hobby of weeding out strange signals in noise. Prolly the last 10 years really. Most of the time, in the areas that we live things are WAY too noisy to even get a glimmer of something interesting to listen to.
But thanks for the Kudos. I enjoyed writting it, if for no other reason to cure my bordum :)

And I'm a fast typer so it didnt take as long to write all that as it might sound.
I will confess that the pic with you in it was actually from two years BEFORE the trip I wrote about. But the point remained the same;)
