So you put cleaner in your car, or are advised to every 3k miles or so, but the bike.... I dunno really the interval for that

3k miles sounds like as good an interval as any.

I've used Techron in the CBR. I've usually put it in the tank just before I leave on a fairly long ride, when I know the engine's going to be up to temperature and it'll work the best. I haven't done any before/after comparisons. Last time I had the carbs off, the valves did look better than yours, though.

Yea, I'm thinking I might run one more bottle after this new tank and then take photos. Give it two runs at least since one bottle isn't going to be able to clean all the gunk off.
