Aegisub hates me

 Why oh why is Aegisub so unstable on my Mac? I am getting the hang of it, but it crashes constantly - every 5 or 10 minutes. I'm trying to see how long it would take to subtitle a ~25-minute show (I would some day like to contribute to fansubbing efforts) but by far the most time consuming part is having to restart Aegisub and reload my project.

Same here! I translated some stuff for my roommate and tried to make subs for her. But I gave up, because it's super annoying to restart Aegisub all the time. Now I leave that stuff to people who know what they're doing :)

Finally I went back to the Aegisub site and saw that the mac version is considered "alpha".. so yeah. grr. I will boot my mac into PC mode and try the windows version of Aegisub.
