Gwendal receives a report regarding outgoing and incoming mail and discovers the letter sent by the Maou to his mother.

It’s not as easy to slip away from Gunter and Gwendal, but I can manage it with the right distraction.

"Oh, really Yuuri? Now that I know of your ploy do not think I will be so lenient in the future. You are the Maou, with great power comes great responsibility. You cannot go off to play baseball when..."

Gwendal's lecture trails off.

"Are you listening?"

It looks sooo nice outside. There's been no rain for a few days, and the field is perfect. Maybe they'll take the Gretas out riding later. They do have all those ponys...

"Huh?"

He blinks and sits up a little more, yawning. "Ne, Gwendal, since when is all my mail read though? Do you always do that?"

Something about power and something.... reminded him of that American Spiderman movie Murata took him to see. "What about baseball?"

"Of course not Heika only when certain key words appear am I notified of mail." It is one the few of Anissina's experiments that works.

What about baseball?

Gwendal's eyes close in mediatation as he tries to control his frustration with his Maou. Naturally he ignored the part of his lecture about responsibility and focused in on baseball.

"Nothing."

Yuuri sighs and signs a few of the papers in front of him and glances out the window again. It really is a beautiful day. "Do you think Conrad will come home soon?" Beautiful days always remind him of Conrad. Sunlight, gentle warmth, green grass, laughing... it just reminds him of Conrad.

The mention of an experiment of Anissinsa's makes him nervous though. He hopes that she hasn't been doing anything dangerous.

"And while we're talking about outside," Conrad, being outside, baseball, "Isn't there anyway to move a desk outside? I promise I'd work more if I could be outside."
