Third Love
“It’s happen 3 years ago. It’s night. I feel so thirsty and went to the downstairs to drink something when suddenly I heard something just like a whispering at the living room. When I take a peek, it was my mother. She’s talking with someone at the phone. When I hear the conversation, it’s about Kei and I. that time, I know the person that talking to my mother is Kei’s mother.” Daiki listened to it.
“When I hear the whole conversation, they want the two of us lost our memory which they will make a fake accident.” Daiki eyes are now widened and his jaw dropped. He didn’t think that Hikaru and Kei’s mother is planning to make a fake accident. “But, why are they doing it? There must be a reason behind it, right?” Daiki ask as the older just give him a small nodded.
“They want to break us because for them two guy to be each other is disgusting. But, for me the ‘LOVE/愛’ that I know didn’t look at gender, age, skin, or what. So, I decided to break with Kei. But, of course that just a lie I make in front of him. I love him so much. That’s why I don’t want to see he’s injured. Even after that, I can’t take it anymore that I want to take a suicide because Kei is no longer at my side. That’s what I think.” Hikaru said with a sad face.
“I understand about your situation.” Daiki tell Hikaru. “Yeah, that’s right. But Daiki. Now I will not let Kei go towards you no matter what.” Hikaru said while now back facing Daiki. “Eh? Why? Didn’t your mother against it?” Daiki ask with a furrowed face. “Not anymore. Because, about a months ago, I know that I’m just foster son. My parent’s has died when I’m still a baby.” Hikaru said and continue “From now on, we are rival, Daiki. Love rival. But still, we are friends. Do you accept it,Arioka Daiki?” Hikaru ask the younger as Daiki look at Hikaru who now facing him and he stand from his sit. “I accept it, Yaotome Hikaru.” Daiki said while hiding his frustration because he knows the chance to take Kei’s heart is now lower because now Hikaru is here to take Kei again.
“That’s good. Now, let’s go back home. It’s late already.” Hikaru said as the latter just nodded and their walk away.
