Oh hai thar Izumi, dun dun dunnnnn.

Al and Winry BFFing is something I have the biggest soft spot for, really. Much as I'm a dork for budding relationships on the Edward-end of the Elric spectrum, Alphonse is just too amazing to become the third wheel people accidentally make him into and the beginning of this chapter (much like the rest of it) is simply fantastic. It must help so much that he actually, you know, remembers the last five years of his life or so now.

I liked your Ed and Roy interaction; quite in character, I think! :D I know FMA1!Ed and Roy got along as well as oil and vinegar (oh god sometimes I still rewatch the beginning of Flame vs. Fullmetal just because bahaha, the Roy impersonation), but I did notice that our bland-assed world mellowed CoS!Ed out some, so it'd make sense here too.

Lastly: d'awwww big hugs between Ed and Winry. You keep whittling his awkwardness down, girl. /shameless shipping

AND NOW FOR MY LIFE STORY.

Anyway, fantastic chapter, off to go squee in a corner, keep on keepin' on, etc.

Izumi knows how to make an entrance.

Third-wheel-Al makes me sad, so no sidecar for him! Al and Winry had been awkward to start the fic because of the situation they were in and they'd finally started to become not-awkward before I'd sent Winry away. Now that I've sufficiently traumatized them, BFFing will be easy LOL.

Al's life gets so much easier with his memories >.o I almost didn't give them back to him...

God I loved that episode XD I'm glad Roy and Ed came across okay, Roy on his own is hard to write yeesh, but it was easier than I thought to sit them down for a conversation. And Winry's got Ed figured out... patience will be a girl's best friend. Now to get rid of Dante so there's no distractions!

XD Thank you~!

Ed's a stubborn, stubborn brat. Of course he's going to do everything the hard way. Otherwise, it's not a good lesson for him. D:

What about that Ed and Winry...? So. Sweet. Disappointed we didn't get art for that scene...just a tad. *smirk*

I thought you did very well with Roy and Ed. Roy's confused at having a completely 'new' Ed; an older Ed. A mature Ed. (Good for you, Roy, not suggesting Ed spend the night with Winry. *snicker* Too bad, though, you might've gotten the fireworks you expected.)

Poor Al for being eleven, sixteen, uhhhh....

I certainly hope he's learnt most of his lessons by now! Getting freed from what could have been an eternity of misery and woe should ensure he keeps a more open mind LOL.

Aren't they though T.T You're assuming I hadn't started working on it?

Roy's pretty much the one who got to see Ed grow up during his teenage years and as the FullMetal Alchemist. Since he missed the adulthood transition, adult!Ed is a month worth of double takes for him. I don't think he's had a chance to see Ed and Winry interact... he'd be all over that.

Al is one tough cookie! He's too positive to let himself be dragged down by silly little things like his age.

Hopefully he has, though by Izumi's reactions, he hasn't learned enough, and he's Going. To. Die.

They are, they are. Progressions, Ed, you need to progress toward proclaiming your total adoration for Winry, we know you want to...

annnnd no, no, just surprised it didn't come with the chapter. :D

C'mon, Roy, you're gonna see Ed and Winry interact when you have the question-and-answer session. You can start collecting ammunition on your massive "all over that" campaign. Don't forget, Maes probably mentioned Winry a couple of times; at least in my headcanon, he would've. "Ed and his mechanic are so cute together, don't you think?"

"Wait, how do you know about Ed's mechanic?"

"I met her."

"When? Why? Did Ed need his mechanic for some reason? What do you know you're not telling me, Hughes?"

Did I send you the pictures of Elicia in her new sunhat? She's so adorable! We went to the park and took a lot of pictures!"

"Hughes!"

"Buh-bye, Roy, gotta go!"

I'm so sad there's nowhere in this fic I can work in crazy Maes and his fantastic Elysia obsession XDDD I do love him so.

If there's ANY lessons left for Ed to learn, Izumi's going to make him learn in front of everybody. Lucky for Ed, he's actually the cat Al's always wanted and has nine lives... though he's only got a couple left.

I didn't want to throw in just the one image... I wanted a couple more but nothing came about :(

I have this deformed gag!Roy in my head cackling over a cauldron of sexually explicit ammunition he's stirring... I don't think I got enough sleep last night LOL.

Well bugger o.O I went to reply to another comment and saw I totally missed yours ~ sorry! Hope you don't mind a reply that's like... lordy, two months late 9.9;

I love Izumi XD she's so much fun. And I love a mature/adult Ed <3. The writing won't stop, but it might get kinda slow... school work is heavy! Which is actually good in a way, because the more school work I have the more the story wants to be written LOL.

I wasn't able to finish any art for this chapter, but I did a fun little art project for the next chapter :D so it'll have sketches!

I really love this fic...

I have a question though...Will Ed visit Maes grave in this? Odd question I know...Hear me out though...From what I remember, Ed never had time to visit him before he ended up on the other side...

...

That could be an EdxWin moment right there. Just saying.

In any case, this story really keeps to the original (meaning that the characters are in character, the settings fit, the OC's compliment the story, etc.).

If they made another two or so FMA seasons using this as their story line...arc...thingy...I would definitely watch it. I wish it existed actually. Yep.

Blessed be,
JammersFlood

P.S. Please tell me that the next chapter is coming out soon! (You can lie to me if you'd like. My perception of days is out of whack. I won't know the difference.)

... That's a good question. I never really thought about it... but you're right, Ed's never been to his grave. I should look into working in at some point hmm >>

Glad you've been enjoying the story and that it keeps jiving with the original :D I've been having some kinda fun with it <3 (considering how long I've been working on it lol).

Heh, no lies here :D next chapter will be soon. It's off to be beta'd... so unless it really sucked (D: I hate when that happens) it should be up within the next two weeks~!

Thank you!
