Well to be fair there is a lot of work to put into the game... maybe there's something the games does that they don't think will be helpful to the players or something generally you don't push a game release back unless the game isn't just right.
but that's not to say that I don't think the delay sucks major arse
Ummm..wow XD I know how you feel, I new about Sims 2 since Sims Makin' Magic came out and so I raised my /own/ money and pre-owned the game which was due on a March/May but it got delayed for more than a year. It upset me.
Personally I don't want Sims 2, it doesn't look THAT different to Sims 2 and the expansion packs. I mean, design your own clothes/furni recolours and such...eh yeah you can do that on Sims 2. Travel to other lots? Sounds like Apartment Life / Bon Voyage to me.
Ok, sure there are some aspects of it that are a little new but I'm not investing in all the money and a new pc or new pc specs just to play a game that has most of the stuff from the previous one 8/
I still like Maxis for The sims collections...but >_> Lol at the catelogs who have it "RELEASED ON FEB 20TH" XD waste of printing LAWL
