Fever broke. I can't remember having one that bad since...well, it's definitely been years. My body still feels like lead so I won't be getting out of bed much, but I have to be over the worst of it, right?

Don't worry about 'distracting' or anything. You were sick. You needed treatment. Doctors are supposed to fix that kind of thing too.

But next time you feel like tempting fate with bad central heating, just go and --
