Who: Kuronue and Shiori
Where: RakuenTaisha (The name of the shrine where Kuronue lives and works.)
When: First day of the festival. (July 13 th-15th)

It was too warm for her comfort, the heat and humidity colliding together did not make the best of weather. The woman was rather fortunate to hear that it may rain soon, in hopes that the weather would cool down. However, she managed to somehow stay groomed, even if the yukata she was wearing did not help her from the heat. The other inhabits of the residence seemed to be wearing anything that cooled them down, even if it caused to expose so much. She was rather used to it, however; it seems that the adolescences of this generation had a different mind of summer fashion ( ... )

The navy-tinted onyx colored one yielded a short disappointed sigh. His keen sense of hearing having picked up the faint footfalls of a small group of humans climbing the temple steps not too far off. “Fuck,” he muttered inaudibly to himself. Finally reaching the top of the stairs, Shiori was greeted with a very pleasant image of the Odon festival picking up in speed as more people started to arrive.

Walking from stall to stall Shiori paused at one where they were selling paper fans to buy herself one and one for each of her family members, each one matching the color theme of their yutakas.

He hung around the little priest-in-training a while longer, teasing him when his time was free of customers, chuckling and smiling, infectious to the humans around them. For once, Kuronue was having a good time. With all his work and the constant threat of being watched in the school, it was so freeing to be able to do what one wanted. Finally.Glancing around the courtyard, he let a smile alight on his face. The festival was certainly cheery as it picked up but he still had a couple of things to do before he would join the festivities. Which he would do now before taking off ( ... )
