Maybe I should just go back to bed

The job offer went through. Now is the process of getting all the documentation I need before actually getting onto the job site. It's more complicated and annoying than it sounds. And my first day is tomorrow, and I'm kind of panicking about it a bit, though I guess it'll be fine ( Read more... )

Oh right. It's Dec 6th today katierox342 December 6 2011, 17:05:52 UTC
This is what exams do to my brain.
The second thing they do is make me very creative which is counter productive to studying DX But enough about me, this is your journal entry!
Congratz on job, and best of luck with all the nit-picky pieces of paper work that still have to go through.
I have to admit, I'm jealous of your being able to write in a moving vehicle. You should give me some tips, because a month and a half for me is ridiculous for me, even if the vast majority of the chapter was written on the bus to and from work (because who really wants to study on a bus? ;P)
As for the story I'm now horribly curious as to how your story is going to go. Prompt....let's see...your prompt is marshmallows! Or if you want a more specific prompt, smores...and roasting them over a fire. Is it obvious I need some hardcore fluff in my reading? XD

I remember the "being very creative at inconvenient times" bit. Always seems to happen when there's something important that needs to be done.

The only tips I have about writing in a moving vehicle mostly have to do with just... doing it. One gets used to it eventually! And it's useful to have a sturdy backing for your notebook. But that's it. :Va I got accustomed to it because when I was in graduate school, on the bus in the morning was the only time I had for writing.

The story... well, I don't want to tell many details. But it will be Den/Nor and I found an unfilled request on the kink meme that will be just perfect.

I'm going all out partying, even though I'm not in Finland atm. TWO candles on the window and I just listened to both the national hymn AND the oath-for-flag song! RADICAL

Two candles? Wow, don't overdo the celebrations! It's a weeknight, y'know! ;p

Congrats again on the job! Try not to worry about it too much. They wouldn't have hired you if they thought you couldn't do it, right? But 4am... ouch. You'll just have to stop staying up past midnight. :p

Hehe, I celebrated by going to the cemetery with a bunch of other students. And candles. And finishing up what's left of my alcohol. And watching the presidential reception. Wonderful indeed. =3=b

Eh, there's thinking I can do something, and then there's actually being able to do it. I have a suspicion I'm not actually qualified for this thing. But I guess I'll just have to see.

Yeah, I'll probably have to start going to bed at 10 PM or something ridiculous like that. Not fun. But I guess I'll live. We'll see if it's worth it. u3u

Anyway. That sounds like a pretty damn good celebration :V [/slightly envious]
