Oh man, England v America. My friend keeps gloating about the fact that the US actually made a goal (Green was so useless there, ugh). Not sure how to feel right now, except that if America does well in the next few matches I'll probably feel compelled to formally apologise to the rest of the world, LOL.
Hopefully! I always feel so embarrassed when the US beats anyone in soccer football (like that time the US beat Spain last year in some match). Probably because most people in this country would be like "Who cares about soccer, LET'S WATCH BASEBALL".
Aa, yeah, I guess it makes sense to feel that way in that regard. If so many people in the country don't give a crap, then winning is like... well... not sure how to say it. I imagine if we were in it too, and doing well, I'd likely feel the same, haa. (Canada and football? Never ;p )
Haa, ngl if you did go around saying "You ken?" you'd probably get weird looks... or maybe people would just think you were being old-fashioned. Or wannabe Scottish. Buuuut probably just weird looks.

Haa, well, I don't know, but I'm sure they'll get their ass kicked by somebody, so it's all good. EVERYTHING'S COOL AS LONG AS THE USA DOESN'T WIN

And to this day I'm tempted to say "you ken?" instead of "you know?" every once in a while ;~;

And ahhhhh yes I love the accents. *_* NGL, I've been having trouble keeping "you ken?" and "crivens" from slipping into my vocabulary, pfft
