... Well, okay, I guess it's not so much of a question. More like, HOW THE HECK did Russia and Belarus qualify. 8| ARGH. Acutally - I do like Russia's song (Yes, I know, I have questionable taste) but those other three, I like them so much better.

Yeah x_x I actually wasn't too thrilled by Estonia's entry, but still, it was way better than some of the ones that did win. SIGH.

Fin/Est/Pol is like, fffwhat. Someone actually suggested it to me yesterday, and I wanted it, and it's a funny coincidence that today I have an excuse to write it. It's such a weird combination but somehow I'm going to make it work. ;p

Seriously why not Estonia? I swooned a little when I saw them! I also need to get that song somewhere, ought to be easy considering they're our neighbour and all.

As for why Russia and Belarus got through, easy. The previous USSR countries all vote each other and especially Russia. They don't even need to try (I did love that one year with Zhenya skating on a tiny patch of ice though).
Up here in Finland we're all cool though. It's like, we don't always vote for other Nordics and they don't vote us, and especially Finland and Sweden don't ever vote each other noooooooooo~

I kept flip-flopping about Estonia's song, but it has grown on me so much. *_* And now I love it.

Ah, yeah. A friend explained the political voting bit to me (with a diagram and everything, haha). It's too bad they don't have too try, but I guess that's Just How It Is. Oh, Eurovision.
