When I was reading The Diviners I came across this passage and thought it was beautiful. It describes our winters in such a way that I've tried to before, but never quite managed. Here:

Winter, and snow of many textures. Hard-packed snow on Portage Avenue and the downtown streets, dirty from the trampling boots. Deep, dry snow, creaking underfoot

Gods, if I could draw at all, I would be totally on this like frosting on cake.

Also, if you were in sciences it would be $200 for one book (and they almost never sell back for more than $50). ;~; I die a little inside every semester.

It is the only writing I have found that describes winter on the Canadian prairies perfectly. <3

Studies are very expensive indeed - it sucks that getting an education costs so much!
And omg, Edward Scissorhands is one of my favourite movies <3 I did not get to see it until a few years ago though.

I'm not sure when the new thing will be done, but hopefully soon. <3

My school is expensive itself, but when you add money for art materials and fact that you should have a very good computer for graphic really hurts D:

I always cry on Edward, it's really magical movie ;__;

I wish you a lot of motivation to finish that new thing, a few days ago I read most of your fics again - you are seriously my favourite writer in whole fandom XD;
