I literally have to get driven to Airdrie or Swift Current to get my dentistry done. It's twice as expensive in the Hat. It... Really stinks. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOUR BIGGEST FEAR IN THE WHOLE WORLD IS DENTISTRY.
My parents wanted me to go into dentistry, but I was like, HELL NO. Wouldn't want to make a living out of sticking my fingers in the mouths of nervous people.
Ffff. "MIGHT help"? If you're lucky? Poor you. *ruffle* Geh, I have to do 2/3 times per day, and floss every day, and fluorinse every day, and that mostly keeps it under control, but not always. Last time I went in, they said I had like, 6 cavities or something. Sob. Fortunately they got most of them done at once.
Oh my, is that one new? I don't recall seeing it before, but.. ♥
I used to not go for years but I'm trying to go at least once a year now. At least I get discounts and I've not needed anything more than some cleaning and polishing so the bill's not too bad. My eyes on the other hand...
Idk, it's just the idea of huge, alien teeth bursting through my gums, and having to extract them and all the blood and drugs and stitches and pain auuuurrrggghh.
Not new, just an old one that I don't use much. ;p
Huge alien teeth bursting out, eh? xD Well, don't worry, because it's not like that. Er, at least, in my case, the gum was a little sore for a few days, and then it was gone... and then over a few months the teeth became exposed. It's not a sudden thing. The removal, now, that makes me a little bit nervous, but that's largely because I've never had any sort of removal or surgical procedure whatsoever, never needed stitches or anything - so, it's the unfamiliarity that makes me uneasy.

That's a good thing. The dentist always yells at me that I have "danger zones" and such and then "floss and it might help if you're lucky."
I had to get 4 cavities drilled in one round last time...

That said, I get away with going to the dentist just once a year, but I am terrified by the thought of wisdom teeth ;A;

I have to go bi-annually. Lovely. But at least that way we can catch stuff before it happens.
I'm not too worried about the whole wisdom teeth thing. Apparently mine aren't impacted too badly (?) so taking them out won't be much of an issue.

And I love that Estonia icon. Do you happen to have a link to the original artwork?

The original is here. Confession: I squee whenever I see it. (Then again, I squee whenever I see anything with them together...)

Thank you!
And I can understand why you squee. That is absolutely adorable. ;3;
