Passing thought

We often get emails from the school when one of the professors or the staff passes away, and most of the time I don't know who they are so it doesn't make that much of a difference to me if I read them or not. Reminds me of an Iranian joke. It you don't find it funny it's because only Iranians find humor in their jokes.

This one guy's father passed away. His friends and family didn't know how to break it to him, but one of them volunteered anyway. He sat down the guy and said, "Einstein was brilliant, discovered many things, and he died. Napoleon was a strategic general, cconqured many lands, and he died. Hafez was an eloquent poet, captured many hearts, and he died. Your father hasn't done shit, so what'd you expect? He's dead."
