“I hate you!”
Yunho got startled by the words Jaejoong muttered as soon as he opened the door to welcome him.
“What?”
“I said I hate you.” Jaejoong repeated, and walked into the apartment fiercely.
As Jaejoong went into the living room and sat on the large couch Yunho followed him mindlessly, not being able to comprehend the sudden turn of events. Weren’t they kissing, hugging and whispering sweet promises to each other just the other day?
As Jaejoong sulked silently with his folded arms, Yunho stood in the middle of the living room, trying to understand the situation. Was it possible that Jaejoong had learned the truth? No. It would have been much more horrifying. Jaejoong just appeared to be upset about something. Therefore, he went with the easy way out.
“I’m sorry.”
Jaejoong finally looked at him, unfolding his arms.
“You better be!”
“I really am sorry!” Yunho said in an exaggerated manner and sat beside Jaejoong. Yunho saw him smile briefly before he sighed and leaned over Yunho’s shoulder. Since Jaejoong kept being silent, it was Yunho who broke the silence again.
“So… do we know what I’m sorry about?”
Jaejoong smiled bitterly again and reached for his hand that laid on his lap.
“You’re sorry because I am... and it is all your fault.”
“I bet it is.” Yunho muttered and wrapped one of his arms around Jaejoong’s waist, bringing him closer. Unlike his usual self, Jaejoong was being too silent. “Won’t you tell me what’s wrong?”Yunho talked again, and placed a little kiss on top of Jaejoong’s head.
Jaejoong sighed “I went to the CEO. I told him that I would only return if he’d increased our shares in the album profits and let us include our own compositions the way we like along with the bought songs…”
“What did he say?”
“He came with a better contract. Just better, not the best… But I guess it was the one that got fixed for you and Changmin. He also changed the part regarding the songs included in the albums. Half of the songs at most will be our compositions with the condition that their final arrangements will be done by the composers of the company’s preference. They don’t trust us until the end of course. If we cannot come up with that many songs, they also will be replaced by company’s songs and so on... Considering we could only release our compositions in the repackage albums this was the most I could ask for. If you are a part of SM, everything has to be confirmed by them; everything has to carry their signature. I just have to - ”
The most he could ask for….
“Wait!” Yunho interrupted. “Does this mean that you agreed?” he asked, suddenly feeling excited.
“Yes, I signed the contract.” Jaejoong replied. “Also, I called my lawyer and withdrew from the lawsuit.” Jaejoong’s monotone voice while saying these made Yunho doubt, he turned Jaejoong’s face to look him in the eyes and confirm what he understood to be true.
“Jaejoong, are you saying that you’re staying with us?”
Jaejoong smiled and nodded.
Feeling overwhelmed, Yunho crashed him into a hug immediately. “Jaejoong… I can’t tell how happy I am… You’re staying with us…” He loosened his arms just to be able to look at Jaejoong again. “You’re staying with me…” he murmured. “Thank you…”
Jaejoong smiled again and leaned in to give him a peck on the lips. “I am happy for staying with you too…” he whispered.
Yunho couldn’t help but notice that Jaejoong’s smile looked a bit forceful. He reached for Jaejoong’s hair and softly pushed his bangs behind his ear. “Jaejoongie… what’s wrong? You don’t seem to be happy.” he whispered.
Jaejoong looked down, his pout coming back.
“I fought with Yoochun and Junsu.”
Oh, so that was what it’s about.
“Is that why you hate me?”
“Yes.”
“It’s okay… You’ll make up with them. You and I fight all the time.”
“Yes. You and I fight all the time!! But I don’t fight with them much. They are my little dongsaengs. I feel horrible now…”
“Wow… I feel so special.” Yunho muttered sarcastically before he hugged Jaejoong again, making his head lie on his chest.
“You are special. You can’t fight and still remain friends with everyone.” Jaejoong mumbled, nuzzling Yunho’s throat as he closed the distance between their bodies.
“You will remain friends with them too. As you already said, they are our brothers.”
“But they seemed to be pretty mad at me.”
“I can imagine… What did you tell them?”
“I told them that I was considering withdrawing from the lawsuit. Going back to the company… I told them about the things you told me. Larger stages, larger crowds… I told them that they should continue with their decisions no matter what I choose to do because it is about their artistic freedom and they should seek for what they want outside the company… but I could do fine within the borders of the company too...”
While listening to Jaejoong, Yunho ran his hands over his back, trying to comfort him.
“How did they react?”
Jaejoong sighed before he spoke. “They weren’t expecting this. In order to succeed we had to stick together, and me bailing out on them will put them into a hard situation. They even blamed me for betraying them and that I would be the reason behind their failure... They also said that it wasn’t my own decision and I was only doing this to get closer to you…”
“Is it true?” Yunho couldn’t help but ask.
“Does it matter?”
“I think it does…” Yunho didn’t want to push his chance, but even though he deliberately tried to manipulate Jaejoong into staying using the other’s feelings for him; he didn’t want to be the only reason for his staying.
Jaejoong sighed again.
“I guess it does then…” he mumbled. “But I don’t know for sure either… I love being an ordinary idol. When I first decided on going against the company it wasn’t just about me, it was for the sake of all of us. But then the group split into two and I wasn’t as determined as before… If everyone is going to choose what is best for them, if this is supposed to be a selfish choice, then I should be allowed to be selfish too. Maybe to me working with SM or by myself does not matter as much as whom I choose to stay with.” He loosened his arms around Yunho and looked up to meet Yunho’s gaze.
“Choosing SM is not only about staying with you because I know that it won’t be bad for my career. I will still get to do the job I love and if there are sacrifices, they aren’t that many. But yes, it is true that I am partly doing this so I can be with you.”
Yunho smiled softly. Somewhere in his conscience disturbed him again, but he tried to ignore it. Jaejoong wanted to be with him, he already knew that. He also wanted to be with Jaejoong. That’s why he was doing this. Did it matter what kind of feelings caused them to want each other around?
“This is my life, and if this is what I want for myself, no matter what the underlying reason is, they should respect that.” Jaejoong continued. “That’s why in the end I got mad too. I just stormed out and before I knew I was discussing contracts with Kim Young Min. Do you still think they will forgive me?”
Yunho smiled encouragingly, and patted Jaejoong’s hair.
“Just look at them with the puppy eyes you are doing now and they will have no chance but to forgive you. I don’t think it is right of them to hold you responsible. If they are right in their case, they will win the lawsuit no matter what. You have done your choice, and they have done theirs…” Yunho knew this wouldn’t be the case. Lawsuit already favored SM due to the signed contracts and soon the support coming from media and fans would decrease too. However, there was no need to remind these to Jaejoong right now. He wanted to enjoy this little moment he had with him before those storms arrived. “How come I didn’t hear from anyone that you went to SM and discussed all these? I thought I had eyes and ears everywhere in that building.”
Jaejoong chuckled for the first time.
“I know you are raising a ninja army inside those walls but I specifically asked them to not to tell you guys anything. I wanted surprise you.” he ran his fingers down Yunho’s face, looking at him affectionately. “But instead I ended up depressing you again. Just before I came here I went to our law firm to sign some documents and our lawyer really pissed me off.”
“I guess this explains why you hated me when you came in. Is that still going on by the way?”
“Nope.”
“Good to hear.”
Jaejoong smiled and looked around.
“Is Changmin out? I want to tell him the news too!”
“Yeah, he is out. He went out with his friends… Should we order some pizza and have drinks? We have the whole place for ourselves.”
“That sounds good.” Jaejoong whispered against Yunho’s lips before kissing him briefly. Yunho couldn’t help but notice the slight smirk Jaejoong had on his lips, and he suddenly regretted his suggestion.
The night passed better than Yunho expected; after that kiss Yunho feared that Jaejoong would be all over him but they ate the pizzas they ordered and watched random TV shows along with some soju and beer. It all felt like pre-lawsuit times, Yunho hanging out with Jaejoong, talking and laughing carelessly. After a while though, the words were over and Jaejoong seemed to be more interested in Yunho’s lips than the rest of the things in the room. Kisses were okay, Yunho felt a bit tipsy himself and had no problem in reciprocating Jaejoong’s ministrations. However, before he knew Jaejoong climbed on his lap and straddled him, trapping Yunho in between the couch and his body. Yunho suddenly felt alarmed.
“Jae- Jaejoong… what are you doing?” he managed to mutter in between the kisses, which were becoming more sloppy and intimate each moment. Yunho didn’t remember using this much tongue in his previous kisses.
“Nothing.” Jaejoong whispered mischievously in response, running his hands over Yunho’s chest as he started to leave wet kisses down Yunho’s throat. The alcohol in Yunho’s blood wore off, and he felt more and more aware of what Jaejoong was doing to him.
“Jaejoong… ” he said again, but he didn’t know what to say to stop him. Being on top of him, Jaejoong had most of the control; and the only way for Yunho to stop him seemed to be pushing him away. Yunho couldn’t do it though, he knew it would disappoint Jaejoong and he couldn’t risk it yet. Also, the open mouthed kisses Jaejoong was leaving on his skin weren’t helping him to think.
“I want you…” Jaejoong murmured, holding Yunho’s face in between his hands gently before he caught his lips again, his tongue expertly discovering the depths of Yunho’s mouth.
“I don’t think we should- ahh…” Yunho managed to separate their lips for a short moment but before he could finish his sentence Jaejoong slid on his lap and made their crotches rub on each other. Startled by Jaejoong’s bold move, Yunho couldn’t do anything for a while and Jaejoong moved his hips over his, adding moans into their now breathy kiss. Yunho grabbed Jaejoong’s hips by instinct, trying to stop him.
“Jae… please… not now…”
Since Yunho’s hard grip on his hips prevented him from moving Jaejoong looked at him with a puzzled expression. “Why not? I want you now.” he muttered, and dived back in to plant kisses on the side of Yunho’s neck.
“No Jaejoong... You’re drunk… You don’t know what you’re doing.” Yunho managed to stop him by pushing his body, trying to put some distance in between them.
“I’m okay… I’m not drunk…” Jaejoong muttered with a smirk on his face. Yunho knew Jaejoong wasn’t too drunk to understand what was going on; but he still was on the edge and Yunho wanted to use it against him.
“You obviously are and I don’t wanna do this right now. Let’s just go to sleep.. Ok?”
Jaejoong shook his head, a mischievous smile appearing on his lips. “Are you being shy Jung Yunho?” He bent down and aligned his lips to Yunho’s right ear. “I can make you feel so good.” he whispered in an obscene way, and before Yunho could comprehend anything, Jaejoong’s hand slipped through Yunho’s sweat pants and underwear, grabbing his semi erect cock. Yunho couldn’t help the voice he released, or the tingling sensation that went right through his spine. However, all his brain cells screamed about how wrong this was, and in the end Yunho pushed Jaejoong with a force that threw him off the couch.
“I told you to stop!” Yunho shouted, standing up himself. But then he saw Jaejoong who sat on the floor, looking at him with a shocked expression. Realizing the mistake he had done, Yunho reached for him, wanting to help him stand back. However, Jaejoong slapped his hand away, and got up on his own.
“Jaejoong-ah… I didn’t mean to-”
“What? You didn’t mean to be with me?” Jaejoong shouted back at him, looking completely pissed off.
Yunho tried to reach for Jaejoong again, but Jaejoong dodged him. “I was taken aback. You know I am not good at these things... It didn’t feel right to-”
“It didn’t feel right to be with a man?” Jaejoong cut him off again, starting to roam around the apartment to gather his stuff. Yunho tried to stop him.
“It has nothing to do with you being a man!”
“Then what Yunho? What made you push me away like that?” Jaejoong looked into his eyes with a stern look on his face. Yunho couldn’t think.
“I was… It was just… I wasn’t…” he mumbled.
“Yeah. It must be it.” Jaejoong rolled his eyes at him and pushed him aside before he stormed out of the apartment.

A/N: I am aware that I was gone for like... years.... and I am also aware that this chapter is too short after that gap in between. Therefore, I apologize. There are some important stuff going on in my life that kept me too busy but I didn't forget this fic, it still has chapters that needs to be written and I will write them. Also, hopefully I won't have to take such a long break again. So, if you still remember this fic, I hope you continue to read.
In the last chapter there had been debates regarding the lawsuit and characters' point of views, I just need to remind you that I have to take sides on this one since I am writing the Yunho POV. Therefore, I won't be fair, I won't be the source of divine justice. I hope you won't feel too disappointed on that. Yunho's forced relationship with Jaejoong and its outcomes will be the main focus in the continuing chapters.

“Yeah. It must be it.” Jaejoong rolled his eyes at him and pushed him aside before he stormed out of the apartment.

A/N: I am aware that I was gone for like... years.... and I am also aware that this chapter is too short after that gap in between. Therefore, I apologize. There are some important stuff going on in my life that kept me too busy but I didn't forget this fic, it still has chapters that needs to be written and I will write them. Also, hopefully I won't have to take such a long break again. So, if you still remember this fic, I hope you continue to read.
In the last chapter there had been debates regarding the lawsuit and characters' point of views, I just need to remind you that I have to take sides on this one since I am writing the Yunho POV. Therefore, I won't be fair, I won't be the source of divine justice. I hope you won't feel too disappointed on that. Yunho's forced relationship with Jaejoong and its outcomes will be the main focus in the continuing chapters.
