I'M SO FUCKING OVER HOUSE. THIS SHOW SUCKS SO HARD. I'M SO MAD. THIS HIATUS HAS GIVEN ME SO MUCH PERSPECTIVE, AND NOT THE GOOD KIND.

back story: during the hiatus, i watched all of Parks and Rec, IT IS SOOOO GOOD, GO WATCH IT NOW. season 1 is okay to pretty good. SEASON 2 & 3: it found it's voice and it's sooo good.

yes. all of this. yes. i haven't even watched the episode. i don't even care. in the three weeks that it was off, i enjoyed life. and that's when i knew; i wasn't sitting around counting down the days until it came back on. hell, i didn't even realise it was monday. i still follow a couple of fics and i watch the short compilation recaps, but i can't really invest anymore than that. and it sucks. it sucks a lot because i lobed it so fucking much and they just shat all over it. it was just so poorly done and that makes me so sad. i think, now is the time to let it go and wait and see. meaning, i'll check in at the end of the season to see if there's anything that i missed. i'm not going to hold my breathe though. 'cause that would be stupid and i would die.

lol I lobe you. And I agree, I've learned my lesson about expecting anything from TPTB (like say, actually exploring a relationship they teased for the better half of 6 seasons) so I'll stick to expecting the worst (which they seem to be great at writing) and hoping for the best.

So yea, word to all of this (I feel like thats all I'm saying lateley).

I honestly didn't miss the show at all when it was gone and that was such a nice feeling, I feel like I've kind of gotten my life back (the show has been holding it captive for longer than I can remember, probably since "Wilson's Heart"). And I lobe Parks and Rec, its such a cute comedy! TGW is awesome too, I've seen episodes here and there, but once I get time I want to watch it from the beginning, it definitely has "new favorite show" potential :)

In regards to the ep: I thought it was at least an improvement upon the last few eps, at least I didn't feel the urge to throw shit my TV (except for the stupid Taub/Rachel scenes, just ugh, WHY DO WE GET MORE TAUB/RACHEL SEX SCENES THAN WE GOT OF HOUSE/CUDDY? DS REALLY IS A SADIST). Anyway, I think the only reason I liked it was because I actually felt something for House in this episode, as opposed to Fall From Grace where I didn't give a shit about him. That said, I dont think this episode "dug" deep enough, but ( ... )
