So I am of the generally liking this episode bunch. It was NOT by any means outstanding, but it wasn't bad either. It was a solid episode, a bit far fetched maybe, but after 7 seasons, it's hard to not go there.
i have more to say, but i need to get to class, so i will say this quickly and come back to elaborate: agree with two - he could have handled it better and he'll probably cave. partially agree with three. i can't get behind one. i KNOW that people's expectations change when they get in relationships. that's a VALID expectation, but NOT on the level that, and the key here, not in the realm that she wants it. it changes a dynamic that they have BOTH had as status qou. one of the best examples of this is the episode with the black military chick in season four.
Dying changes everything, almost dying changes nothing.
gold star. au fucking star. Au.
i talked about/defended my belief against your position on one and i know you read it 'cause you commented on it, so i won't rehash that :] but i do want to tackle three.
Third and really the only reason she has for this level of pissed: for risking his life in the way that he did. i think for most 'normal' people this would apply and be obvious. but he's not normal (it's overrated anyway and so common. hee). this is a person who has injected himself with someone else's blood to prove a point, who has licked the vomit of a homeless person, who has stuck a knife in a wall socket and who has let his best friend convince him to do deep brain stimulation when his head was already cracked open. that's not to mention that he put himself into insulin induced shock and the numerous OTHER crazy shit he's done. i think he feels CULPABLE for the action and how it will make her feel (he did mention that he told them NOT to

i love long replies, and yes, i agree with everything here. you're right. also, you're right about point one. also, house was under the assumption that the vaccine gave him small pox because his kidneys were compromised. so he still did have small pox and House did expose himself to it essentially? right? even though it was R-Pox, when house went in the room he was under the assumption that he had small pox right? i is confused or bad medicine is bad this season.
WHY ARE THIS SEASON'S COLD OPENINGS SO FREAKING BAD??? WHY. like, they're just sooooo bad. have they always been this bad? so corny, unbelievable and cheesy?i don't fucking know, but i totally agree. shit's have sucked! well not the author one, that one was awesome! i think the problem is that they're TOO their own little video. like before it was like they were filming an episode of house and this thing that would give us our patient was happening and we got to see it. now they're fucking crazy productions with special effects and BAD acting. shrugs
