I like PBR, flannel shirts, and have a beard. But I live in rural Maine and drive a tractor haha.
See this fits into my theory that you can't be a hipster if you're genuinely poor or within whatever subculture that just happens to like things that hipsters like. They're just stealing from us! My great-grandfather drank Miller Lite by the case and wore nothing but western shirts, because we was poor and also he owned a farm for a while so whatever. Then it's about roots, not class-appropriation.
Some people don't get that distinction! Also man, screamo hipsters. That's a concept.
