Mmm, kudos to you for an extremely rousing read! Now I'm actually wondering if they indeed ARE together in the ES21 manga LOL!

I second Max...this is good stuff...romance fluff with a twist of humour. It's good enough to make one think...are they canon OTP? XD

Cheers

XDDD I thank you for the comment! Alas, Kakei and Otohime don't interact at all in the manga. T___T Nevertheless, fanfiction is love~ XDD

I thought this was very cute. And it was really well done, so I applaud you especially because I would find it actually kind of hard to write minor characters like Otohime and Kakei, but you carried the task out very well.

Balcony had me laughing out loud, and I really like Jousting, Natural, and Victory. And do I spy a HirumMamo reference in Jester, or am I just delusional?

Oh, oh my! I was looking over it again and saw your notes for #29, and omg I am such a sucker for myths and incorporating them into fanfics and such, so I guess I just want to say: You are awesome for that!

Actually, "Jester" was meant to refer to Otohime getting together with Mizumachi while Kakei got together with the Poseidons' manager (she's the one with rather curly hair), which is what 'cannon' hints at, thus completely sinking my ship. (Please pardon the lame puns). I wish I could write HiruMamo though - the pairing is ♥ and explosions combined.

As for the myths, I had to laugh and admire the mangakas for their detail when I found out the story behind Otohime - figures it'd have something to do with the sea. XDD

^__^ Thank you for reading, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I live for lame puns (my father and I once watched a sea turtle swim toward us and I said, "dad it's coming tortoise! AHAHAHA"), so yeah, definitely no need to apologize! And, OOOOOOH. Okay. Just the whole manager and blonde football player thing caught me! I wish I could write them too, and I try and fail quite miserably, but until the day I can I just stick with what the lovely memlu has created. (I'll totally link you to some of her stuff if you'd like me to!)

It makes me curious as to whether Kakei or Mizumachi's names (even their last names) have anything to do with a Poseidon/other water god myth. A lot of mangakas surprise me with how much thought they put into their characters names-- I mean, not that that's a weird thing to do in general, but I always try to put some significance into my character's names in compliance with the story in some way, so I just think it's neat the professionals do it too! I guess! I don't know! HAHA (I'll shut up here!)
