Hetalia manga printing problem...?

I recently got a copy of the Hetalia manga from Tokyopop. I couldn't help but notice that there were many, many times where the art is kind of blurry, and yet a few pages later it cleans itself up. However, the font in these blurry pages are as clear as those in the cleaner pages

I wouldn't have noticed without you pointing it out, but I see what you mean. I think it was in the original published volume like that too, though. I checked the Hetalia scan archive and pages 75-78 aren't as crisp as pages 79-82 there either. http://aph.starry-sky.com/v1_073-080.html for comparison

Ahh, I see. Thanks for that. That's a bit of a relief for me. I was worried that I would have to buy another copy. ^^;
