So I got that second letter I was waiting for today. Turns out I got accepted into KU Pharmacy school! They sent the letter a week after my interview.

Hi! I'm not sure how that happened but I'm glad we're friends, too.

Go ahead and ask me all the questions you want! I'm graduating from Pharm in May so I can finally answer questions.

oh, that's great. Yeah umm so, how different is Pharm school from undergrad. What was your major before you got admitted to the school, I'm majoring in Bio sci right now, taking mostly bio classes. What are the pre-req for your school. Um.. my questions are kinda all over the place. haha sorry cos I don't know what's it like and based on my current grades I don't think any school will accept me but I just wanna find out some more info about it.

I applied to both the University of Kansas and University of Missouri-Kansas City so I really know the application process for both.

Since the PharmD program is a 2+4 (2 years pre-pharm, 4 years pharm) program, you don't have to get an undergraduate degress. I went to Kansas State University for my "undergrad" and just took the classes required by KU and UMKC. I was Pre-Pharmacy but the Chemistry department adopted me.

Pharm school is pretty different from undergrad. You're in a professional program so you con't have to scramble to get enrolled for classes. It's also a lot more time consuming and you have to study harder (it's not as bad as medical school, by any means).

What is your GPA and where are you doing undergrad at?

Also, for KU:
English 1 and 2, Biology 1, Chemistry 1 and 2, Organic Chemistry 1 and 2, Chemistry and Organic Labs, Human Body and Anatomy, Speech, ... that's all I can think of off the top of my head.
