I'm wearing the pedometer today. I'm hoping to put a goodly number of steps on it, although the weather isn't going to make it easy (raining and icky outside), but if I can just plan to put more steps on each day than the day before, I think it'll help with the weight loss stall that I'm currently experiencing.

I think you've got the right approach with the "more steps than the day before". I'm finding it much easier to do the exercise thing when I start off with a trivial amount and ramp it up--that way I'm always feeling pumped about my ability to complete it.
